Set idle timeout for RDP session on Windows Server

On Windows Server, if you want to set idle time out settings, follow the steps below.

1. Go to Start –> Administrative Tools –> Remote Desktop Services –> Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration.

2. Under Connections, right click RDP-Tcp and select Properties. In the RDP-Tcp Properties, click on Sessions tab. Change the value as needed. In the example below, the session will disconnect if the user is inactive for an hour.
